Frequently Asked Questions

Confidential, veteran-focused Telehealth and mental health support across Australia from trusted practitioners,

Have Questions?

No, there is no out of pocket cost to you. We bill directly to DVA. Eligibility for the DVA entitlements are dependent on your claims and service entitlements.

It’s simple. Reach out via our contact form, social media, email or by phone. We’ll guide you from there.

If you’re a current or former member of the ADF, chances are yes. But we’ll confirm, based on your unique circumstances.

Our support team is available Monday to Friday, 8am to 4pm AEST.

Although we will not charge you for missing your appointment, we do ask that you please give at least 24 hours' notice where possible. This allows us to offer that spot to another veteran and inform the practitioner so that you are not bothered while unavailable.

Although we are here to support you, we are not a crisis centre. If you are in crisis, please call 000 if you are in immediate danger or reach out to dedicated services such as Open Arms (1800 011 046), Lifeline (13 11 14). There are other helpline numbers in our resources section as well. You are not alone.

To be eligible for DVA to be billed for your sessions, we will need a DVA referral from a GP. If you would like to access our program privately, we can have a chat to you about options. However, these do not require a referral and are not funded by DVA.

As a part of our wellbeing program, your sessions with a mental health worker will be 20 minutes for mindfulness work. If you require longer or are after a therapy approach, these sessions run for 50 minutes. With our other specialties, your session length will depend on your specific needs and circumstances and can be decided between yourself the practitioner.

It not only allows you and your practitioner to get to know each other better and put a face to the voice. It is also a DVA requirement that the first appointment of each new referral is conducted in a video format for telehealth eligibility. Should you wish to utilise our services but don’t have the necessary resources to conduct a video session, please give us a call and we can discuss further options with you.
